XIO2001: 125Mhz reference clock input

Hello，

Our customer used the single-ended 125Mhz reference clock input, REFCLK125_SEL pulled to high, REFCLK+ connected 125Mhz, REFCLK- connect 0.1uF to GND. but the PC couldn't recognize XIO2001, but when he used the differential 100Mhz input, there is no problem and XIO2001 could be recognized normally.

So is there special attention to use single-ended 125Mhz input?

Hi Kailyn,

Please confirm REFCLK125_SEL is pulled high when the device is being operated in single ended reference clock.

Hi Nasser,

Yes, the REFCLK125_SEL has been pulled high. But sometimes the PC couldn't recognize XIO2001, while using differential reference clock, there is no problem.

Hi Kailyn,

You can try using a 49.9ohm- Resistor in series with AC coupling Cap being used on the negative side to gnd. Would this take care of the problem?
