Hi Sirs,

My customer wants to design a co-layout PCB with or without DS125DF410.

The example as below.

While they need retimer, the resistors will be removed, otherwise, the resistors will be mounted.

Is it ok and work well? if not, what is the suggestion for them to design a co-layout PCB?

    Hi,

    The system board circuit configuration the customer is planning on using is not fully clear from the diagram and description. Could you please clarify in detail the circuit topology planned for the both cases? I'm interested in the connections for the retimer ports, both TX and RX.

    • Retimer in data path
    • Retimer bypassed
