Hello Malik and team

Could you review on the minimum USB_R1 pull down resister value?

This is because my customer is under tuning for the USB_R1 pull down resister for eye diagram.

And they could get the required eye diagram with 8.2kOhm but the minimum USB_R1 is 8.25kOhm with 1% tolerance)

could you let me get your advice how much low value of USB_R1 can be used without any issue?

    Hi Billy,

    We set 8.25Kohm as the low end for USB_R1 because lower values can add more jitter.  A slightly lower value should be no issue if you are not seeing problems with the jitter in the eye diagram testing.  We have customers using values down to 8 Kohm in production.
