HD3SS3202: used to USB2.0

Part Number: HD3SS3202
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HD3SS6126, TS3USB221E, TS3USB221A, TS5USBC41, TS3USB3031

I used HD3SS3202IRSV to USB 2.0 interface as a switch, we can see the eye diagram is pretty good after pass HD3SS3202, but the USB 2.0 devices could not be scanned and detected.

Then I added pull-low resistor about 4.7K on the D- signal, the USB 2.0 high speed device can be identified.

So my questions are :

  1. Could HD3SS3202IRSV only be used for USB3.0 application, but not USB 2.0 application? what is the reason behind?
  2. Whether it has other risks if used to USB 2.0 high speed application with add pull down resistor on D-? I don't want to change PCB.
  3. Could you recommend a USB switch for 2.0 application, but the capacitance will be around 1pF ?
  4. If I add a USB switch, what's the parameter of the switch can impact signal quality?  Ron, Con, bandwidth?
  5. Could you recommend a USB switch for 2.0 application?
