TUSB217-Q1: Question about some function

Part Number: TUSB217-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DXP,

Hello Team,

Thanks for your every support. I got some questions from customer as below. Can you provide answers?

Q1. Regarding with DxP/DxM internal circuit, Is the D1M and D2M were DC isolation internally? If Yes, Does the state change during IC reset, during HS communication? Customer take care the overvoltage from USB connector go through to the MCU.

Q2. Regarding with disconnect detection, Does this IC have a function to internally monitor the SOF voltage and perform a disconnect judgment? If yes, can you answer below

Q2-1. How much is the detection threshold voltage of disconnect (Min --mV)?

Q2-2. If the MCU's detection threshold is higher than that of TUSB217-Q1, What behavior of TUSB217-Q1?(For example, Redriver detects disconnect → Redriver stops BOOST operation of HS → Eye pattern is crushed → USB communication is not established → USB is disconnected from the user's point of view)

Q3. Regarding with signal condition of HS signal, This IC has a DC level BOOST function. Does this DC level BOOST also boost SOF voltage? If YES, does the BOOST voltage appear not only on the output side but also on the input side?

Q4. Regarding with the RX sensitivity, is changing the RX sensitivity just set an DC level threshold (IC only amplify the voltage which is higher than the threshold)? Or is there a certain threshold for the undulation of the received signal, and is that threshold also changed? I'm not sure how the RX sensitivity works, so I'd like to know the mechanism in detail.

Q5. Is there any concerns about changing the RX sensitivity setting too High?

Thanks,
