I understand TUSB4041I should work when plugged into Windows or Android machine (Tablet PC).

Hi Yaita-san,

TUSB4041I makes use of the default USB drivers in iOS. They are no specific/custom drivers for this device in iOS.

Is it same for TUSB4020BI (2 port USB2.0 Hub)?
Does TUSB4020BI work both Windows and Android and iOS?
My customer is considering using TUSB4041I (4 port) or TUSB4020BI (2 port) for their application.

Hi Yaita-san,

Correct TUB4041I and TUSB4020BI makes use of the default USB driver of any OS. TI does not provided custom driver for these devices.

I believe I2C EEPROM and SMBus Slave access aren't required for TUSB4041I to operate when plugged into Windows or Android or iOS machine.
Is it correct?

Hello Yaita-san,

Yes, this is correct the I2C EEPROM or the SMBUS Slave are not required for normal hub operation.
