Hi Team,

My customer considers designing USB Type-C PD application (source 45~60W).
Regarding TPS65987EVM, LM3489 is mounted for variable DC/DC that isn't synchronous rectification.
My customer wants to use synchronous rectification DCDC controller instead.

Could you tell me an appropriate DCDC controller?
I think LM25145 is one of possible candidate.

Yaita,

Please use the LM(2)5145 (42V)/75V synchronous buck controller. There's an Excel quickstart calculator in the product folder that assists with component selection.

By the way, if the output current is < 6A, please consider the LM61440 4A and LM61460 6A converter family with integrated FETs.

Thank you for your support.

Regarding DCDC with integrated FETs, my customer wants 100% duty for their application and I found the following devices which are close to their requirement
- LM60440 (4A)
- LMR33640 (4A)
What do you think of these devices? Are these devices also recommended?

These devices are fine if 4A is enough for the application.
