TUSB211: Connect a keyboard to a smartphone and charge it simultaneous

TUSB211 is only a redriver that redrives USB 2 HS data. USB keyboard are typically only USB 2 Full/Low speed devices. Unless keyboard is connecting over USB HS data TUSB211 will have no function.  TUSB1210 may be a better option here as Stand-Alone USB Transceiver Chip. Separate IC will be needed for USB BC 1.2 and/or USB-C charging. What connector type is the customer using?

Regarding your question for the connector type used by the customer:
He's going to use as an output to the smartphone a micro/mini USB plug With USB 2.0 or lower technology.

Is his application above is still possible by our products that only requires USB 2.0?

Yes this is still possible but customer will need a USB 2.0 PHY not USB 2.0 redriver.

According to the customer, using a USB2.0 PHY is a complex process, and his design plan is simple.

We do not have a dedicated solution for this application. Customer could look into TUSB3210 but this devices is not recommended for new designs

If the customer output connector is changed to a USB-C instead of the USB2.0 or lower, is there a IC that can charge the smartphone and use the keyboard simultaneously without using a processor?
