FPD Link Interconnection Approach

Hi All,

Currently I am exploring to design FPD Link with up to 8 - 10Gbps. From my study on FPD there are STP and Coaxial cable approaches to link between the serializer and deserializer.
May I know what will be the advantage and disadvantage for both approaches with the speed range (or even higher in future) that I am looking for?

Will the power scheme i.e PoC or power over STP will impact the performance?
