DP83822I: Where does transformer spec come from?

Hi Experts,

There is a spec about transformer specification on the datasheet.

Where does above spec come from? Does this come from IEEE? If so, which standard of IEEE is it referring to?

    Hi Uchikoshi,

    The specs in Table 147 come from the list of recommended transformers in Table 146. The list of recommended transformers was compiled based on transformers that worked well with the DP83822I during internal testing. As long as the transformer used matches the specs, there should be no issues.
