DP83TD510E: Ethernet switch with DP83TD510E

I would like to know if it is possible to use the DP83TD510E connecting its RMII interface to an ethernet switch, instead of using the DP83822I (used on the DP83TD510E-EVM). My idea is to design an ethernet switch with several 10B-T1L ports. What design recommendations or what type of ethernet switch should be used?

    Hi Felix,

    It should be possible to connect the DP83TD510E to an ethernet switch as long as the switch has RMII interface as well. The DP83822 on the evm is used as a media converter. As long as you make sure the connections are the same, it should be good.
