DP83822I: Too long from RESET High to CRS Low.

Part Number: DP83822I

Hi,
Could you please let us know whether correct operation or not?

After the Power up on DP83822I, it takes 588ns from RESET's de-asserted to CRS pin's low. According to datasheet, this time is T3 + T4 = 184ns (Typical). It seems too long. So my customer worries whether it is any issues because 588ns is too long. Please let us know your opinion.

Waveform is as follows:

Schematics is as follows:

Datasheet is as follows:

Thanks and best regards,

  • Hi Hattori,

Can you check the time it takes from RESET de-asserting to when RX_CLK comes up? Can you do the same for any other pin? I would like to know if this is something you see on multiple pins or just the CRS pin.

    Regards,

    Adrian Kam

  • Hi, Adrian-san,

    >> Can you do the same for any other pin?

    The following pins are changed.

    • RX_ER#28 : 570ns   (0.142V→0V)
    • COL#29 : 558ns   (0.150V→0V)

    >>Can you check the time it takes from RESET de-asserting to when RX_CLK comes up?

There is no data of RX_CLK pin.

Under the above information, is it possible to confirm whether this device is no issue?

    Thanks and best regards,
    M.HATTORI.

  • Hi Hattori,

Can I take a look at the entire schematic? You can send it to me through email instead of posting it here as well.
