Hi
SN65DSI83 have shutdown mode and ultra-low power state (ULPS) support.
IULPS(Device standby current) is higher than IRST(Shutdown current) .
Please let me know what kind of situation I should use ULPS in.

Hi Takayuki-san,
ULPS only puts the DSI lanes in a low power state while keeping the rest of the device powered (so I2C registers are still accessible).
Shutdown (EN = 0) puts the whole device in reset, so I2C is not accessible. Additionally, the initialization sequence will have to be followed again upon exit from this state.

Hi I.K.
Thank you for your detailed explanation.
I understand the difference between shutdown mode and ULPS.
Now I have another question.
What will be outputted on the LVDS signals in the ULPS state? (zero value pixel data? high imedance? )
And What will be displayed on the LCD connected to SN65DSI83?
Regards,
Hi Takayuki,
Nothing will be output on the LVDS side since the PLL will be unlocked. There will be nothing displayed on the LCD so it will appear black.

I.K.
