Hi Team,

I would like to know more about the state transition of the TCAN4550 from power-on to start sending/receiving data.

EVM User's Guide is not enough for me to understand.

Please refer me to the relevant documents.

    Hi Kenji,

    The TCAN4550 EVM User's Guide is rather hardware focused so it's not the best resource for understanding device configuration and state transitions. I would recommend the TCAN4550 Software User's Guide for descriptions of various functional modes and register explanations for this type of information. The BoosterPack User's Guide, specifically Section 3.2, is also a good resource for device specific firmware and configuration steps. There is also demo code available under the Design & Development section of the device's store page that includes a sample initialization function that should overview the configuration flow for the device.
