Hi team,

Our customer is designing DS80PCI800 in Skylake platform but they would like to confirm below two questions.

1. is DS80PCI800 designed ok in below Skylake's convert board? 2pcs DS80PC1800.

2. Is there any trace length limited between Redriver and NIP & between Redriver and NIC?

    Hi Paul,

    1). Suggest using DS80PCI810 instead. This part is in PCIe integrator list.

    2). It is suggested to place the device about 4-5 inches away from the TX side of the NIP or NIC cards. Additionally, we can provide IBIS-AMI model for DS80PCI810 so customer can do some system simulations before the actual schematic/pcb layout.
