Is it possible to link two USB3.0 ports directly on the TUSB7340, bypassing the PCIe bus ? If so, how is this accomplished ?

Just to clarify, the right-hand-side of the PCIe bus shown in the block diagram represents my "main design". The left-hand-side of the PCIe bus is going to be a test board that I plan on designing in order to test my main design. Rather than making the test board a PCIe card to insert into a PCIe slot in a PC, I was hoping to design a test board with a USB-C interface. Is this possible ? If so, what IC would go in the ????? box ?

The TUSB7320 is a xHCI controller. It must be configured by system software (like operating system)., so it's only work with system with SOC or CPU
What if Thunderbolt was used instead of USB3.0 ? Can PCIe be connected directly to the USB-C connector or would an IC be needed for the ????? block ?
For clarification, the USB-C port will be connected to a MacBook Pro that has a Thunderbolt 3 port, so the MacBook will be the CPU. That said, can I connect the PCIe interface directly to the USB-C connector ? If so, what is the pinout ? If not, does TI have a bridge for this ?
