PCI2050B: PCI2050BZHK and PCI2050BZWT

Part Number: PCI2050B

Dear TI Team

With EOL for Micro Star BGA products, our customers are considering replacing PCI2050BZHK with PCI2050BZWT.
As a result, we have received the following questions, so please answer them.

1. When checking the package, the pin pitch and external dimensions are the same as shown below, but the number of pins is different.
If you check the following materials, there is a notation of "pin-to-pin and footprint compatibility", so I think that the pin arrangement is the same for the part where the ball exists.
Is the above recognition correct?
(When checking the pin arrangement of PCI2050BZHK, the position of the ball that is not on the ZWT pin is the NC pin, so I think that it is PCI2050BZWT that removed the NC pin of PCI2050BZHK.)

2. There is no change in register settings such as device ID, right?
It is not shown in the data sheet, so I would like to confirm it just in case.

Best Regards,

Y.Ottey
