Hello team,

I'd like to ask a couple of spec questions on DS80PCI402.

1) Pin functions description
It looks that the following I/O TYPE descriptions are mistake. If yes, it should be nice to be revised the next timing.


2) For dual lane use case, how should we handle unused IN/OUT pins?

    Hi Sawamoto-San,

    1). Your understanding is correct. I apologize for this mistake and am making a note to take care of this on the next revision of the data sheet.

    2). These devices have signal detect that powers down the signal path. Therefor these un-used pins can be left no connection. It is preferred to use AC coupling cap and ground through 49.9-ohm Resistors. This will reduce any chance of noise cross coupling and prevents unterminated inputs.
