Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer is using in their project one serializer which is connected to a deserializer. From Tx0 of  the deserializer connected to SoC, another port is connected.

(Tx1) is connected to another serializer.  Customer have to configure serializer (tx1) through I2c. Can he use the same i2c bus for both serializer?

DS90UB954-Q1 have two Tx ports . How is i2c splitting happening here?

    Hi Art,

    Do you mean RX ports? The ports that accepts serializers?

    If both serializers are identical and configured the same way, they can use the broadcast mode feature. Refer to section 7.5.5 in the datasheet:
