Hi Team,
Our customer used the ALP GUI Margin Analysis on 960EVM pairing with 953EVM.
Some questions need your help.
1. How to know whether the result is pass or not?
At least 3 valid EQ Levels and at least 2 contiguous??
Our they need to refer datasheet?
2. Our customer set the Bit_2:0 of register 0x58 to [000], which means the BC frequency is 2.5Mbps.
And observe that the Current RX Port Status shows No Linked.
Is it a normal situation? Or is there something wrongs that happened?
3. For the Back Channel frequency is 50Mbps, and they use the 0.3m/2,5m cable to do the test.
And observe the Port_1/2/3 may fail under this situation. But Port_0 looks fine.
Is it acceptable?? Because they used 953EVM/960EVM for the test, it may not be a hardware issue.
Or they need to adjust the Dwell Time to get a more practical result?
