DS160PR410: three questions about DS160PR410

Part Number: DS160PR410

Hi team,

We have three questions about DS160PR410 to check with you.

1) Do we have detail description of 0x09, 0x0A?

2) We have tried to write 0x08 to 0x0d to reset RX detection, then write 0x00 to 0x0d to release the reset. Whether the process is correct?

3)We have found the 0x06 will change to 0x80 even not write when power up, do you know why?

Thanks.

  • Hi Frank,

1). Reg 0x09 and 0x0A are internal reserved registers. These registers should be over-wrrtien.

2). It is recommended to read content of reg 0x0D, change or set only bit 3, and then write the result. When this is done, then reset bit 3 and write the result again.

3). Writing 0x06 to this register is invalid and should not be used. These are reserved registers and changing these register bits is not recommended.

    Regards,, Nasser

  • Hi Nasser,

Thanks. You may miss my questions.

    1. we found the register 0x09 and 0x0A are changed without any writing. we don't know why.

    2. Please help reply whether the customer's set up is ok or not.

3.0x06 cannot be changed??We have found the 0x06 will change to 0x80 even not write when power up, do you know why?

  • Hi Frank,

1). Reg 0x09 and 0x0A are internal reserved register registers and used for internal monitoring of different circuit block. They may change.

2). The recommended process is the same as what noted earlier. We should read the content of the registers, set bit 3 to reset RX detect, and then write back the register. Then Reset bit 3,to release RX detect reset, and write back the value. The difference with customer setup is mainly just reading oxoD register first and changing bit 3 only..
