TPS25750: Rp on CC Pin

I have a question about the integrated power switch behavior.

When TPS25750D is configured as an UFP, If a power source is attached without Rp on CC pin, will the power path still turn on to allow power sink by system? Or will the power path will be turned on only if a valid Rp on CC pin is detected?

A Rp pull-up resistor on the CC line is used to indicate that port is a source. How are you going to communicate the port is a source on the CC pins without the right pull-up? Can you please explain your setup more?

The product has some weak power accessories (i.e. solar panel) and their output rating is much less than 5V/500mA, we are thinking whether we should add pull up Rp on them or not. The main purpose for the solar panel is to charge the battery but it didn’t need to provide power for system.

Can you please provide a block diagram for your system? How do you intend to connect the solar panel?
