  • Hi,

Please keep in mind that TUSB7320 is not recommended for new designs and support is very limited for tis device

    1. Keep in mind that EEPROM is not required for default operation and is only required if customer wants to customize some device configurations like the device's Subsystem ID, setting some ports as non-removable, etc. For details on what settings can be configured through the EEPROM, please refer to table 4 on the datasheet. Please see section 7.4 Programming for EEPROM requirements.

    2. We do not provide bin file. This file is specific to each customer and should be created based on Table 4 in the datasheet.

    3. If EEPROM is to be used then 4.7k pull ups are needed on SCL and SDA. Since Wake and CLKREQ are being used please refer to the ERRATA linked below for design considerations regarding these two signals.

  • Hi Malik,

The TUSB7320 is NRND so any recommend part with the same/similar function?

    Thank you!

  • Hi Zoe,

No, there is no updated part here and no future device on the roadmap.
