I am trying to interface a 4-lane Camera through TI Serializer DS90UB953 and Deserializer DS90UB954 to a TI Board DRA71x based. This camera module is off the shelf and I am trying to configure it to 2-lane(since DRA71x supports only 2-lane MIPI CSI2). But meanwhile, I wanted to check if there is a possibility and FPD Link protocol allows Camera and Serializer to be 4-lane and Deserializer to be 2-lane(may be configure the Deserializer to 1.2 Gbps or 800Mbps, if say the Serializer/Camera is 800Mbps speed?) and still receive the data. Do you see the possibility of such a configuration? Of course I will make sure that Sensor resolution and fps is within 1.6Gbps. Just asking this question on the assumption that Camera MIPI lane configuration change is not in my hand, whereas resolution and fps of Camera is in my hand. Please let me know if you need any more clarifications
