Hi Team
Would you advise the rated current capacity of ROUT1 and ROUT2?
I couldn't find it in datasheet.
Thanks

Shidara

Hi Shidara,
The receiver outputs are characterized at given output currents (see below). Exceeding these currents could cause the output voltage to drift outside the associated specified range.
Let me know if this is what you're looking for and if there are any other questions you have.

Eric Schott
Hi Eric-san
Thank you very much. I informed it.
Additional questions comes that Would you advise the ABS max current specification of ROUT1 and ROUT2?
According to Driver section of its datasheet, Short-circuit output current max = ±60mA.
So I think ABS current should be more than 60mA but I couldn't find ABS value.
Thanks

Shidara-san,
The specification you mentioned of ±60 mA is the short-circuit current, which represents what would be expected in a short-circuit case. In other words, this somewhat represents the maximum current you could expect to see from the device when shorted. You would not be able to get a higher current without violating the Absolute Maximum Ratings from page 3 of the datasheet. This does not mean that the device is intended to have 60 mA drawn from it continuously.
Regarding an absolute maximum specification, this is covered by the voltage specifications within the Absolute Maximum Ratings section. These ratings take into account the expected current draw under these conditions.
To be clear, the Absolute Maximum Ratings represent the thresholds after which we would expect damage to the device. Regarding proper operation, as current consumption increases, you can on average expect slightly lower VOH and slightly higher VOL. The test conditions that Eric correctly referenced above are what were used to obtain the MIN, TYP, and MAX values seen in the datasheet.
Does this help clarify?
Best,
Danny
Hi Danny,
Thank you for your advice.
Yes. I could inform it.
