DS90UB940-Q1: how to check the receive data is correct or not for UB940

Part Number: DS90UB940-Q1

Hi team,

customer have some problems about DS90UB940:

1. for PASS function, is it only used in BIST mode, right? In normal work condition, not BIST, what is it use for?

2. they would like to know how to make sure the receive data of 940 is correct ? my understanding , LOCK pin can monitor the PCLK is stable or not, is there any other signal or indicators can check the 940 data?

thanks,

  • Hi Betty,

For pass, in Normal mode status output pin (BISTEN = 0)

PASS = 1: No fault detected on input display timing

PASS = 0: Indicates an error condition or corruption in display timing.

Fault condition occurs: 1. DE length value mismatch measured once in succession 2. VSync length value mismatch measured twice in succession

    2. The CSI receiver can monitor CSI status to check if there's data errors. If UH940 is used, customer can enable RGB checksum to monitor data integrity between Ser and Des

    Best Regards,
