DS90UH948-Q1: CLK1/CLK2 output when LOCK is HIGH but no video from serializer

Part Number: DS90UH948-Q1

Hi Team,

When the 948 has a valid link (LOCK signal is high) but there is not video being transmitted from the serialzier, will the CLK1/2 signals continue to output a clock? For example, if paired with the DS90UH949 serialzier, what would be the 948 CLK behavior if the HDMI output of the SOC feeding the 949 disabled its HDMI output (clock and data)?

I also see the option to enable TDMS CLock Auto in the 949 datasheet (0x03 [1]). Would this be asolution if the SoC stops its HDMI CLK output then the 949 could enable its internal TDMS clock. Would this allow the 948 CLK output to continue operating (but at a possibly different rate)?

Thanks,

Justin
