Hi

PCA9535 extension IO port support hot swapping,

In our application scenario, it is possible to have the signal from the back panel access to the IO of the PCA9535.

    Hi Neal,

    As long as you don't violate the absolute maximum rating specified in the datasheet during the hot swap event, then it shouldn't be a problem. (Such as large transient voltage swings which exceed the rated voltage)
