Hi Sir,

How to fix the DS90UB954-Q1EVM shown the "Unknown Deserializer" issue?

My customer had turned on/off my notebook and power on/off EVM several times, but it does still not work. They also installed the latest ALP utility and the ALP updated profile.

Thanks for the picture. Could you also upload 'ALP--About this Program' screen shot? See below. I would like to confirm ALP build date is latest.

I notice customer is using 1.8V VDDIO jumper setting. I was able to connect my 954 EVM to ALP with the same jumper settings as shown.

My ALP version is same with your version, but I was not able to connect my 954 EVM whit ALP.

Jumper settings are same as your setup and ALP info tab screen shot below

Do you have I2C lines on J25 connected to some external controller? I see some black wires on your picture near the I2C header. It looks to me some setup issue.

Hi Vishy,

Thanks for your reply. I found reason of this problem, the external I2C pin (EXT_SCL/EXT_SDA) is short on the TI954 EVB botton MIPI connector.

Now ALP software was connected with TI954 already.
