DP83849IF: About TS-1000

Hi Team,

 

We are looking for TS-1000 compliant Ether PHY.

Do you have suitable TI devices?

If yes, could you please let us know a parts number?

 

By the way, I refer to the following E2E thread, and understand that DP83849IF can’t support TS-1000.

Is my understanding correct?

    Hello Hide,

    We have 3 100BASE-FX (IEEE 802.3u)  capable PHYs : DP83849IF, DP83869, DP83822IF. Do you know what extra is required by TS-1000 over 100Base-FX and are you planning to use that?

    For example : while going through the TS-1000 standard, I noticed that there is a provision to enable data loopback tests usin OAM. Is this required by your application?

    Hi Vikram-san,

     

    Thank you for your prompt reply.

    We are considering whether to apply TS-1000 for application.

    Therefore, we are looking for the device that contains all TS-1000 requirements.

    (I think "Enable data loopback tests usin OAM " is also included.)

     

    I guess that TI devices are not designed for all TS-1000 requirements.

    Is my understanding correct?
