SN65HVD31: RS422

Part Number: SN65HVD31

I have a device that communicates with a RS422 bus at 962100bps and I have another device which uses the SN65HVD31. Would both devices be able to talk to one another considering their baud rates?

    Tayo,

    The SN65HVD31 supports baud rates up to 5 Mbps. This should support the baud rate you have described above since it is below 5 Mbps.

    From the datasheet, Table 1 shows a comparison of the different SN65HVD3x devices, and Figure 34 depicts a typical application of the device:
