HD3SS460: Application questions of HDMI

Hello Sir:

I have few questions about HD3SS460 applications.

1. Does HD3SS460 can support HDMI TMDS signal input and also support front and back plugs?

2. Does HD3SS460 can support DP signal input or support DP transfer to HDMI signal?

3. If there has no these functions do you have other device which can meet our requirements?

Please provide your recommendations for us.

Hi,

The HD3SS460 is biased at a common mode voltage range of 0-2 V while the HDMI common mode voltage is 3.3V.

Are you looking for a HDMI MUX solution? For HDMI MUX solution, please consider the HD3SS215 or the TS3DV642.

The HD3SS215, TS3DV642, and the HD3SS460 are all passive MUX, they do not support DP to HDMI. For DP to HDMI, you would need active protocol converter.
