I have a customer looking for a fast protocol for data transmission. They don't have enough data lines for USB 3p0 or 1G Ethernet.
What other "simple" options do we have to enable 1Gb/s transmission?

Gregory,
Unfortunately, none of our devices communicate at gigabit speeds, The fastest we have are RS485 transceivers that communicate up to 50Mbps. In terms of overall TI transceivers, the only other options I can see are Ethernet and USB, both of which you mentioned can't be used.
We do have other industrial interface transceivers in TI, but these are not supported by our group. You can find a list of those transceivers here.
