DS90UH940-Q1: mipi output when no input signal

Hello, Team,

In Table Output State (datasheet p24), it is stated that "CSI-2 OUTPUT" should be "HS0" when "SERIAL INPUT"="Static" (no input signal), "PDB"="H", "OUTPUT ENABLE"="H", "OUTPUT SLEEP STATE SELECT"="H" (5th row).

When tested using an actual device, the mipi output was ~500mV (i.e. neither LP mode nor HS mode) which does not match with the datasheet.

1. What do you think is causing this mismatch?

2. Is there any other missing conditions which might be causing this?

What did you set in reg 0x02? Is there lock to the serializer?

Hi,

The setting of reg 0x02 are:

OUTPUT_SLEEP_STATE_SELECT (0x02[4]) = 1,
OSC_CLOCK_OUTPUT_ENABLE (0x02 [5]) = 0,
OUTPUT_ENABLE_OVERRIDE (0x02 [6]) = 1,
OUTPUT_ENABLE (0x02[7]) = 1.

Is there lock to the serializer? -> No. It is when no signal is inputted from serializer.
