DS90UB954-Q1EVM: About t internal pattern function and differential signal.

Hello,

Regarding to FPD-Link III Ser/des EVM ,my customer is asking a question.

They will confirm MIPI/LDVS with following EVMs.

MIPI input :DS90UB953-DS90UB954

LVDS input: DS90UB933-DS90UB934

 

(Question)

 

(1) When MIPI is no input, can we see signal between DS90UB953EVM and DS90UB954EVM using internal pattern generation function in device?

About DS90UB933/934, these devices don’t have internal pattern generation function.

So, when LVDS is no input, we can’t see signal between DS90UB933EVM and DS90UB934EVM.

My understanding is correct?

Also could please tell them recommend equipment as HOST/ISP for testing DS90UB954/934?

 

(2)About DS90UB954EVM and DS90UB934EVM,

These boards have only single-end line on FPD-Link.

Can we confirm FPD-Link with differential signal on these boards?

Could please tell them how to modify on these boards, if poosible?
