Good morning,

I configured the PHY with 2 supply mode. So datasheet says, "No Components should be connected to VDDA1P8 pins in Two-Supply Configuration."

I am curious, would it be a risk to connect these 2 pins to each other and not to any other signal?

Further more if it is okay to connect these 2 pins to each other, may I add a test point to measure the internal 1V8 rail, is this possible?

    Hi Onur,

    There is a risk of introducing additional noise to the VDD1P8 supply by adding traces and test points to these pins. Additionally it will add additional capacitance to the internal rail. It is possible but not recommended.
