My customer uses MAX3243ECRHBR and found that the back end of the transfer IC has a cable inserted and without a cable, the waveform on the connector will be different.
1. If there is no cable inserted, our waveform looks like putty Key characters, and it looks like the waveform is all OK
2. If you plug in the cable, you will find the waveform of our TX/RX/RTX. When there is no key character, only when Putty is turned on, the signal on the TX/RX will be dirty and there will be an 11k hz harmonic. exist. And after putting the key character on the putty, it was found that in addition to the continuous existence of the 11khz harmonic of the TX waveform, the signal out of the Key will also be deformed, so the remote end received the wrong character.
3. In addition, if putty is not turned on, the harmonics on TX/RX will disappear.
