TPS65988: TPS65988DH: Default configuration not working properly

Hi,

I am working in a design with TPS65988DH in it. We have tried several default configurations for the PD controller.

But in all the cases, only Power path 1 is closing, Power path 2 remains open always.

We have tried the highlighted configurations.

Once configured, the PD controller is working fine. But the default state is not working

Please send me the project file that you are attempting to use for your EVM and I will look into what is causing your issue

Hi Chuck,

Please find the attached configuration Project file.

But, I don't understand how these configuration files affect the default configuration behaviours and the reset behaviour of the controller.

As far as I have noticed, no configuration in the GUI is related to them.

If there's any impact, please explain how

What device are you using to connect to the EVM?

I have reset mine back to the default connection and I can connect to 3 different chargers as a UFP and to two different devices as a DFP.

Hi Chuck,

The behaviour is not in EVM.

It is in my custom design board.

Right now, I have pulled up the ADCIN2 line with a 100K resistor to LDO 3.3V.

There is no change in behaviour.

Can you suggest me a configuration?
