DP83869HM: Question about pin 6

Part Number: DP83869HM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83869EVM

Hello,

Naming convention for Pin 6 of this device seems to be inconsistent. The diagram on page 4 of the datasheet says pin 6 = VDDA1P1, but it's VDD1P1 in the Pin Functions table on page 5. There's no mention of VDDA1P1 in section 8.3 on page 11, but Figure 114 on page 109 shows four pins labeled VDDA1P1. The schematic in the DP83869EVM user guide says this pin is VDD1P0. Should this pin be powered from 1.1V or 1.0V? Is it an analog or digital supply pin? Please advise.

Roland

  • Hi Roland,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and sorry for the confusion. All instances should be labeled as VDD1P1. This is a 1P1 Volt supply, please refer to section 8.3 for the correct description. This shall be updated in the next revision of the datasheet. Pelase let me know if you have any further questions regarding this topic. Else, I will close this thread.

    Thank you,

    Nikhil
