SN65HVD30-EP: Full duplex not working

Hello,

We have a customer having a concern as below:

We are using this part SN65HVD30MDREP on two boards and connected them in full duplex mode but we are not getting proper data, we are receiving some junk values, attached is our schematics can you please review and let us know why we are not receiving the data in full duplex mode. We have connected TX pins to RX pin and RX to TX pins on both the boards.

Please review and let us know what could be the issue.

    Roland,

    What's the data rate and cable length? Is there any ground potential difference between the two communication ends? I notices 5V TVS diodes are installed. Please check the bus voltage level to be sure the diodes not clamp the signal. You try testing with loop back (TX to RX) or with short cable first.
