TDP142: Function of ferrite beads

Hi, from the datasheet, there is a ferrite bead at the Vin.

May i know what is the ferrite beads is use for ?

Is that a must to have the ferrite bead?

Hi,

The ferrite bead with the decoupling capacitors to ground forms a low-pass filter network, reducing the high frequency power supply noise.
