My customer is considering to use the TFP401A.
The d/s specifies the Setup time and Hold time are 2.1ns and 0.5ns at the condition of 1pixel/clock, PIXS=low, and OCT_INV=High. The customer noticed that these Setup time and Hold time cannot meet the requirement of subsequent stage device that is Setup time 4ns and Hold time 1ns.
The customer thinks that the setup and hold time of TFP401A is small because the ODCK frequency is assumed to be up to 165MHz.
Since the ODCK frequency customer uses is 50MHz, is it possible to relax the setup and hold time?
The reason why it is assumed that it can be relaxed is that when the output ODCK CLK is up to 82.5MHz, the setup time is 4ns and the hold time is 2.4ns in the following settings.
2pixel / clock PIXS = High OCT_INV = High / STAG = Low
