Which device is recommended for the application?

TPS65987D
TPS65987DDJ
TPS65987DDK

    Hi Yaita-san,

    We are experiencing some extreme weather conditions right now in the Dallas area, so my team's responses may be delayed as power is restored.

    For host, can you please tell me what processor is being used and/or the Thunderbolt controller? In general, of the devices you have listed it will be TPS65987DDJRSHR, however, if you are designing a host system with Intel Tigerlake processor you will want TPS65994ADRSLR.

    For Device side, of the devices you listed TPS65987DDJRSHR is the Thunderbolt 3 device on the Intel Reference designs. When you transition to Thunderbolt 4, the Intel Device Designs use TPS65987DDKRSHR.
