DS90UB954-Q1: Simultaneous Mode Configuration

Hi Team,

Is it possible to configure the 954 so that one of the inputs takes in RAW data format and the other takes in CSI-2? The datasheet says "Each input port can be individually configured for CSI-2 or RAW modes of operation", but I do not see where to specifically assign one port for RAW and the other for CSI-2..

Hello Jared,

Yes it is possible and it is configured in register 0x6D which is port-specific. Also you must be sure to set the BC rate for the corresponding port to 2.5Mbps in register 0x58

Hi Casey,

I see, and you select which port you are configuring via register 0x4C, correct?

When strapping, will the strap mode configure both ports to the same mode, then the user needs to go change one of the two ports in the register map?
