TCAN4550-Q1: CC2642R: CC2642 and TCAN4550 i.e. SPI to CAN SDK for CC2642 MCU

Hi Team,

I am using CC2642 MCU and I would like to have SPI to CAN, But the CC2642 has no CAN interface and customer want to use TCAN4550 to achieve SPI to CAN.

I am using CCS v10.02, I am not getting demo code(SDK) for the SPI to CAN implementation, Could you please suggest, which compiler and debugger shall be used to run the SPI to CAN SDK on CC2642 board. 

I am not getting Data sheet and User manual for CC2642 and TCAN4550 devices, kindly send me the doc or link for the same.

Please suggest, which are documents are required to understand CCS tool and Device.

    Anilkumar,

    There is generic TCAN4550-Q1 starter code in the product folder for that device, as well as a software user's guide that walks through the starter code and how to configure the TCAN4550-Q1 for proper CAN communication. You can find links to the product folder by clicking on the part name in my post.

    For a compiler and debugger, TI recommends Code Composer Studio and you can find more information about that here. 

    For more specific information around the CC2642 device, I'd recommend reaching out to the team that supports that device using the Bluetooth E2E Forum.
