MAX222: rs485 digital isolator

The MAX222 is an RS-232 transceiver, if you want to build an RS-485 full duplex system here is a list of RS-485 transceivers that are capable of full duplex.

I also found some interesting documentation that documents how to build a half duplex digital isolator. You may be able to make some configurations to that system and build a full duplex digital isolator.
