Hello,

I want to use the DS90UB926QSEVB board to display a small video using RGB24 interface. Unfortunately, I only find a 800x480 LCD display and it doesn't work.

As this board is used with DS90UB929-Q1EVM board dealing with 720p video, the selected 800x480 LCD doesn't fit with the video definition.

Is it posible to modify the DS90UB929-Q1EVM to generate FPD-LINK signal for 800x480 video (I can easily modify the definition of my video into 800x480 definition). ?

If not, have you some LCD reference suitable with DS90UB926QSEVB board, with RGB24 interface and 720p definition ?

Hello Chevallot,

you can't change the resolution in the UB929. You need to do this in the video source.

I've tried by changing video format into 800x480. But It wasn't worked. I'm afaraid that UB929 can only convert 1080p or 720p video format into FPD-Link signal.

Am I wrong ?

Does UB929 able to convert 800x480 format into FPD-Link signal ?

Hello Mickael,

the UB929 does not care about the resolution. It cares only about the PCLK and total data rate (max and min).

The PCLK Frequency need to be between 25 - 96 MHz

Note that: PCLK = Hres x Vres x Fps x blanking
