ONET1141L: Can the ONET1141L support normal laser diodes?

Hello, My name is haruyoshi yamashita.

I think that ONET1141L can support electroabsorptive modulated laser (EML).

Can the ONET1141L support normal laser diodes(e.g.　rlt940-200gs.pdf)?

Greetings Yamashita-San,

ONET1141L has been characterized for EAM/EML types of laser where we have 50-ohm termination. Looking at the latest spec you sent, it was not clear as to how 50-ohm termination is achieved. Operating voltage seems to be within the spec of the ONET1141L.
