TUSB8041: USB Upstream Signals control into TUSB8041

Hi Expert,

The engineer has below questions of TUSB8041 applicant.Pls help to comment.

1)Could we control PWRCTL1/BATEN1 by USB Upstream Signals?

2)Could we disable/enable USB Downstream Signals  by USB Upstream Signals?

    Hi Eric,

    The USB hub switches on and off power to the hub ports based on USB commands from the host, but these commands are a function of the host driver.

    USB Downstream Ports can be disabled / enabled using EEPROM or SMBUS connected to the hub.
