TPS65988: Any notice for USB 3.2 RFI System Level test

Hi,

From USB 3.2 ECN, the product has type C interface and supports USB 3.2. it needs to pass RFI test.

my customer use TPS65988 and TUSB564 for portable monitor.

Can I know anything they need to care for this?

Hi Frank,

Will your customer use a specific piece of testing equipment to conduct this RFI test? I do not believe I am familiar with an RFI tester, so any additional information you can give would be helpful

In brief, there will be an interference signal adding to USB signal thru type C connector to check the noise level.

Hi Frank,

Speaking with the team, no one seems to have encountered such a test before with some of our other customers. I don't think there is a specific device or component you add to help pass this test, but instead follow general EMI layout guidelines when creating the board.
